Only if you fancy paying somewhere near the new price :-( (DuMont are 150 quid from J&L)

I've got one but if I sell it I'll be bound to need it a week later!

I do have a *spare* 3/8" square broach which I'd be happy to sell, not much help to you though.

Cheers Tim

Hi Tim, Many thanks for the info on I & L I have a full set of broaches somewhere but on the move from my industrial unit to my home a year ago they seam to have disappeared, if I don't have any luck on Ebay I will have to use my shaper, Just out of curiosity how much do you want for the 3.8" broach, you don't happen to have a .250 kicking about. Regards Ben.

How about half the J&L price? it looks virtually unused. I think the 3/8" is the only square one I have spare, but pretty sure I've got a few duplicate imperial keyway broaches. I bought a job lot off ebay, & some of the sizes I already had. I'll look later.

I've had a quick look, I've apparently got 1/4" , 5/16" & 1/2" keyway broaches spare, plus 3/8" and 7/16" square. Also have a 3/4" round which would probably be more use to me if it were converted to money.

These will probably get bunged on ebay when my workshop reorganisation is finally done, but in the meantime anyone here who might have a use for one of them is welcome to contact me.

Cheers Tim

You might also try 'rotary broaching'

an option. It works great for small forms like the sizes you're talking about.
