Sorry Dave, already got one. I must say it is a whole lot of machinery for the money, for anyone who has room for it. I guess the unfamiliarity puts people off. Less versatile than a vertical miller, but there are some things it does better and the cutting tools are a whole lot cheaper, and easier to sharpen.
Mine had already been refitted with a single phase motor when I got it (at a somewhat higher price). Works fine - it's not something, I think, that benefits from the speed control of an inverter drive - though the belt cover doesn't fit properly anymore. Yet another job to get round to one day.
