Any idea where I can get replacement resilient mounting bushes for the
3/4HP 1ph motor (GEC) on my Super-7 ?
They have got so bad that every time I start the thing it does quarter turn of recoil.

I think that some of the smaller car shock absorber bushes can be utilised. I doubt GEC ever sold them separately.

I was hoping there would be an industry standard design.
Take them off .they are probably oily ...give them a clean with something like meths ...then put a bit of talc on them.

do a number of different sized resilient bushes. Admittedly, the ones I used on my toolpost grinder motor mount sheared after about three hours of use, but that was probably because I severely underspecified them!
