I see that TurboCad version 8 is being offered at £9-95 ( current version is 10 at around £70). Is v8 worth having for the type of technical drawings that we do and what are its limitations? Your views would be appreciated.

Don't knock TurboCad, I learn't how to use CAD, on an early version, and have since moved on to bigger and better. £9.95 is a great price to give it a go... What you learn can be used in other packages, the main thing is learning to think CAD!!! that takes some getting used to as much as learning the commands... Hell, for that price I think I will pick up a copy for the archive. Who's selling it at that price.
