What Taper Is This?

I came to the conclusion after an exchange of e-mails that this:

is a 2 Morse Taper dead centre.

Given that the new one the postman delivered today is much bigger, can anyone confirm the size of the one in the picture?

looks like it may be a No 1 morse, I dont have any to hand so am unable to confirm it, either that or.. its a No 0 morse
