Interference??

--Thinking about using some EL-wire to jazz up a battlebot, but it uses high frequency AC to work. Would this cause problems with an FM radio? My intuition says no, but better safe than sorry..

Depends on the frequency. If you are within about 100 kHz of an FM broadcast, and radiating enough power it will interfere. It may not be much interference, and FM has the wonderful effect of masking interference very well, up to a certain level. The trick is to keep the radiation down. To do this, keep the AC near a grounded surface, or twist it together with it's return wire.
