Hi. Does anyone know where I can find info about how much a robotics engineer can make? I tried the salary report for engineering on Monster but they don't have an entry specific for robotics, granted robotics is an interdisciplinary field. My career inclination is for designing/programming autonomous mobile robotics rather than, say, industrial manufacturing applications.
Just so long as you don`t make robots that steal others incomes it should be about average.

I didn't know anyone was classified as a "robotics engineer" since it is such an interdisciplinary fields encompassing engineers from mechanical, electrical/electronics and computer science.
What a preposterous question. Everyone knows robots can't be engineers!
