Battle Park Fall Launch

The launch is a definite go! Oct 31 - Nov 2.

Since it's the Halloween weekend, we are having a little contest. The closest flight to 3000' with a Halloween odd-rock or payload wins. Not sure of the prize yet. Maybe, launch fee return or we could hit up Performance Hobbies for some Trick-or-Treat goodies...B>)

Marcus Leech (Propulsion Polymers) will be visiting us from Canada. Doug Pratt (Pratt Hobbies) will also be here, so it will be a great opportunity to discuss Hybrids with two experts.

Saturday we will fly right up to dusk so bring on the Animals.

Thanks for the support, Jerry. Heck, buy 10 of each size :-)

I'm not actually doing onsite sales (how many rocket motors do you think you can carry in your carry-on baggage without setting off the alarms :-) ).

I'm looking forward to meeting many new people, potential customers included, of course!

No! 10 reloads!

Hybrids? An infinite number.

Pratt Hobbies will be supplying free use of our hybrid launch system to anyone who wants it. We can't do the free-NOX deal any more, but we'll do it at cost. Please send me an email ahead of time if you need NOX, so I can be sure to have enough.

We will definitely fly a Propulsion Polymers PentaMAX K350, and I'm working on making some demo flights of the prototype ProPoly 22mm E, F and G motors as well.

A couple of weeks ago, I was travelling to Sacramento for a meeting.

I happened to have a 1/4"-20 x 3" machine screw in my carry-on. They found it, and told me I couldn't take it on board. Imagine them finding a bunch of aluminum tubes and parts...

What, a _screw_ is considered to be a potential weapon? "Take this plane to Cuba or I'll fasten somebody to the floor?"

They don't like people screwing around in their airplanes. :)

Check it.

I have checked entire (large) motor cases and rocket airframes just fine.
