[FA] 24mm Venus Probe conversion kits

I listed a few more of these on eBay. If you have not flown a Venus Probe on 24mm (C11-3, D12-5, etc.) you have no idea how well they can fly.

Agreed about the flying, but why buy a kit when all it takes is a bit of tube from your scrap box and 15 minutes of cut and glue?

Some people have no parts.

Some people want the instructions.

Some people also want to know about the error in the regular instructions for locating the landing leg retention ring assy.

All the rest of the experienced folks will have parts laying around (tubes, rings(thrust and centering), larger launch lugs) and they will figure it out by trial and error. That's why buying those cases of Venus Probes is a good idea.

Well, that's cool. A Venus Probe on a "D" is a very nice flying rocket.

No need to try to convert it. Just fly it one 18mm composite. Great flights on D13s and D24s.

Of course, but the average person either has no supply of those (due to lack of vendors or lack of supply as a result of the fire) or does not want to spend money on a casing that they may lose.

They want to use readily available Estes motors. Therefore conversion is the only solution to the lack of C5-3 motors.

The C11-3 kicks butt.
