...why NAR was originally opposed to a legislativeeffort. In the courts, you can at least hopefor a reasonably impartial judgement based on thelaw, although it seems to take just short of forever.But in congress - logic, rationality, and scientificevidence don't count for anything, which was prettymuch what former Apollo astronaut Harrison Schmidtsaid after his 1 term in the senate. Now thatthe senate bill is being used for partisanpolitics it seems NAR's worst fears of whatcould happen are coming to pass. Not to mentionthe 'modification' in committee.
