"It is a good day to fly"

I'm still warming up from the chilly temps, trying to convince my computer to read the disk from my camera, and the living room is filled with rocket clutter....it was a great day of flying here! My own flights were all successes. Got the bugs worked out of my dual deploy system (my last excuse for waiting to get Level 2 just ended) in my one custom build. I wanted to fly it high power but the cloud ceiling prevented that (next time!). Got in a full clustered flight on my one scratch build that was the last requisite for the design contest I've entered it in. Flew my resurrected Graduator (lawndarted a couple launches back) and Lil' Nuke on some Econojet F's that had been collecting dust for too long. Even flew a huge 13mm A10 powered bird, just for the fun of it. There were several kids flying, and at a rate of fire that was astonding to see. They had alot of good fun flights and we all cheered them on. The biggest bangs of the day were 3 high power flights. One fellow flew an I360 and J275, quite the show they put on. The last flight of the day was the biggest. The fellow showed up last and pulled out a HyperTEK K240 powered bird carrying a live feed Boostervision video camera. Some of us were getting ready to pack up and decided we had to stay for this one. We weren't disappointed either! Man that was fun to watch! Moments after touchdown we were all watching the playback. The view from the 3669 ' apogee was impressive. Then we all packed up and headed somewhere warm!
