Actually that field is only about a 1.5 to a 2 hour trip from the cities.

It should be on its way. It was at the T.H.O.R. club meeting in Omaha on Tuesday. We strapped it to the roof of Bruce Lees van for the trip north. We have got to see the booster and the payload. It was great to be able to touch a piece of space history.
What's the 'toasty warm launch site' heated with? The hot air that's constanly coming out of your mouth - or is that your ass?
You've never flown at Mojave, have you?
Hint: it's windy enough there that any such "hot air" as you mention (that Jerry might contribute) would be, like, totally lost in the shuffle...

Maybe Jerry is the reason its like that. 8-)
I don't think Jerry is capable of generating enough wind that you hear it howling in the tower structure when you climb up to arm the ejection system...
