54 in Dual Deployment. This kit is one in their "Almost Ready to Fly" series. According to Ed at Giant Leap, "the Firestorm 54 has been completely revised from the ground up. It is carefully engineered to make it high performance on the one hand, yet simple to build on the other."  According to Ed, "this kit makes dual deployment, and level 1 or 2,  just a few hours away. "

It has the following features:

  •    Acme Fin Canister - - no lay up fins required.
  •    KEVLAR® shock cord with presewn loops.
  •    KEVLAR® chute protectors.
  •    Aluminum conformal rail guides.
  •    54mm Slimline motor retainer.
  •    Supermount system to secure the shockcord to airframe.
  •    The New 54mm nosecone with 5-to1 exposed length.
  •    Ripstop chutes: 36" main chute and 18" drogue
  •    All hardware included.
  •    Vinyl DECAL.
  •    14 page instructions with step-by-step photos.
  •    DUAL DEPLOYMENT IN JUST A FEW HOURS.
