I am going to paint a new model with Rustoleum Metallic paint. Do I need to put a coat of clear over the metallic? Or will that kill the metallic "shine?"

I put a coat of clear over rustoleum black and copper metallic, and it enhanced the "shine". It also helps protect from chipping.
I'd strongly suggest the clear, as some of the metallics show fingerprints horribly without it.
