While I haven't built that particular kit, I have gotten kits and parts from Semroc. They make good quality products and have very good instructions for their kits. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for kits or parts.

Well that's good to hear. Have you ordered from Apogee? Since I live in a metropolis with limited launch areas, I figured I'd spend some time building some more complicated models that don't fly as high but are still cool.
I saw an old ad on the web for an upsized Trident, but it looks like the firm is out of business. That really caught my attention.

I have ordered from Apogee and have always gotten good service. I haven't built any of their kits, so I can't comment on them specifically.

After getting my level II certification in the summer of 2009, I was wondering what next. I decided to build up-scale models of the Orbital Transport that I built back in the 70s. I got the Semroc version from Apogee, built it, and flew it a few times. I remember Estes instructions saying to weight one side of the glider to make it circle. I think that is still good advice. I used the kit and Rocksim to build a 3:1 upscale that flew great during the summer of 2010. I have always had good look ordering from apogee.

Good to know. Getting back into the hobby after 30 years or so, it seems like even the good hobby stores have the same old stuff and the newer Estes aren't as challenging as they were back in the day of the Orbital Transport.
I'm still repairing some of my old models, but I really have my eye on the OT.
