Looks like a kid toy or maybe even a scratch built more than something actually from the puppet movie. But it looks convertable to me! Perhaps a 2 liter bottle or coffee can for the body, a single serving applesauce container for the nose, cord pulls for the feet, and random parts for the rest.

How bout the three saucers on the back of Firesign Theatre's Every thing you know is wrong? Definitely comedy (with just a bit of social commentary) and sure looks like Sci-fi with the saucers and UFO'rs.
NOTE TO RSOs ON RMR!
Due to the probable chemically altered state of anyone building a rocket while listening to Firesign Theatre, any rocket presented to you with this theme should be examined with extreme diligence. Be very careful to check for unusual design "features" and the use of unusual products. Some examples might be using marshmallow topping for glue, Cheez-Wiz for filets, or other food products as recovery devices.
Some discretion may be required when determining if the builder actually used Cheez-Wiz for filets, or it just looks that way.
Lettuce and Cabbage may be acceptable as part of the recovery system if used with proper consideration.
I think the words are comedy sci-fi, so I look at various movies that are deemed comedy and think that there are other possibilities. In other words it does not need to be animated.
I was at Target the other day and noticed that they have a line of Muppet dolls. One of the collections is the Pigs in Space set that includes a miniature spaceship with a pig tail on the end. It looks just like the one on the show. Rocket Flyer Southeast Georgia
