I saw one open box and it had vacuform parts. Are they all like this? I've never worked with vacuform before.

I'm pretty sure that all of the building by MiniArt are vacuformed. Here is a link to a build review on Armorama of one of the buildings.

If they're anything like the Miniart 1:16 figures - go for it! Those figures are as nice as the IMAI knights (and about the same scale) and include decals for the heraldric crests. The only downside seems to be that there are no instructions included.
