For years i have seen what models etc your getting for crimbo and been jeaous as hell cos i never had anyone to buy me owt....but this years its differant!!
Just found out a friend from Berlin has bought me the new Revell Fw 200. Not my normal cup of tea but looking forward to it, along with a book to go with it, she went to Motag modelshop, where i was in Apr.
No my plans are still on to move to E Germany in a few months with my dog, so the main questions is, can i build kits and add swastikas like i do back in old blighty? My friend asked my why i would add them as they didnt come in the boxes and i said its the way its done eveywhere else, after market decals, details etc to replicate the real thing
I asked my friend to ask the woman in the shop, if she rememberd a badly speaking German English guy and she did, who spent hours in the shop getting exited and she did....buying lots of things and she did........and not wanting to leave.....and she did
oh well....will be the first year i get a model as a gift (be the first year i get a present for as long as i can remember, and not one i had to buy myself)
