Years ago I built a Matchbox Bf-109E-4 Trop. I/JG27 od Derna, Libya,1941. There was no swastika decal in the kit. I would now like to addswastikas on the fin, but I am at a loss which one to use.There is a well known color photograph of Werner Schror's E-7 with anon-standard swastika on white background: looks almost identical to my model. The only difference is thetactical number, which is 9 on my model, while it's 8 on Schror'smachine.Should I use the same non-standard swastika on full white background,or a standard white outlined swastika?Radek

Lacking reference on the exact plane you modeled,I'd play it safe with a standard one.

I do not think this is Schrörs Bf 109, according to Prien I/JG 27 it is not.

I think this is one of the many earlier mis matches of pilots to planes that has been around for many years, based on old unreliable information.

I got fool my self on this one some years ago, so now my Bf 109 only reads I/JG 27
