This may be the 1/64th scale kit they released in the 1960's. The did a number of models to that scale (which is 3/16"=1 foot), but it never caught on as an aircraft scale. GPO
seems odd, because the 47's seem to be /172.

The Monitor/Merrimac(Virginia) set contains kits of two different scales as well.

had that onw as a kid. wildly different scales covers that set.
It barely lasts as a model railroad scale - 'S'. Most American Flyer was made to that scale.
