Is this the same kit that came out about 10 years ago or so? Who is Model USA, anyway?

Long story short. METMODEL announced this kit. They were unable to follow through so a new outfit called ModelUSA released the kit. It is a nice kit. So nice in fact that Hasegawa has released it as well! Cheers, Max Bryant

IIRC, there is also a "correction" set included to fix a couple of known problems with the kit that were discovered AFTER ModelUSA released it.
