Northrop F5A

For those who have the old Hawk F5A stashed away for a future attempt at building, give it to the Church rummage sale and go get the new Classic Airframes kit. I picked one up from Chris Mikesh yesterday and it is everything the old Hawk kit isn't. Of course, the Hawk molds are about 35 years old! The kit I picked up has markings for one of the U.S.A.F.'s "Skoshi Tiger" aircraft, a South Vietnamese aircraft and a Spanish Air Force bird. The basic airframe parts and underwing things are plastic. You get resin for the cockpit parts and wheel wells. It comes with both sidewinders or those curious wasp waisted drop tanks for the wing tips. Two napalm tanks and two bombs for the underwing racks. Looks good in the box. Bill Shuey
