Use Crazy Glue (cyanoacrylate) or 5 minute epoxy for gluing. You can use enamels or acrylics for painting as long as you use a primer first. I like the Floquil primer for figure and lead soldier painting. HTH-

If you need to flush mount PE directly to a transparency, consider using Future. Otherwise, the other posts cover the laternatives well.

Thanks all for the suggestions.
It isn't that I haven't built models in the past (ohhhh, 10 years ago or so), but that I've never tried it with brass parts. :)
No airbrush yet though :(. Good think it's a tank, I'll figure something out...maybe monotonal spray paint with accents :)
