What are some good books and web sites that teach you how to scratch build?

there are two good books on scratchbuilding that I know about. Both are from Schiffer Publishing and from a guy called John Alcorn. I'm not sure if they are still available, but they are very well done and were very expensive at the time (mid 8ties and mid 9ties). The title of both is something like Master Scratchbuilder. Harry Woodman also did a book on scratchbuilding back in the early 7ties which might be a bit outdated now in the age of resin.
