Hi, here's another question for my acutal kit, Revell's Super Hornet.
As the real canopies are tinted and Revell's are not, there is something to be done about it. I plan to use Tamiya's 'Smoke', an acrylic, for the purpose. What I am not quite sure about is what is the right order for the different paints that will be used for the canopy.
Usually I just give them a coat of Future and then do the masking to paint inside and outside frame colors. I want to avoid materials to interfere with each other. Would this be a sequence:
- Future
- Smoke
- masking
- Frame painting (enamels)
Or may it be better to spray the Smoke first and then apply the Future? (I dip the whole part into it) May be there's no difference but I don't want to ruin the canopy..:-) Any suggestions? TIA Ingo
