See ... it goes together just like the 1/48 Monogram kit. Snapped off just behind the cockpit. McDonnell Douglas probably used CA glue. While strong ... it doesn't have the tinsile strength to hold it together in the high G environment. That's where good ole tube glue comes into play. That way you can bond the parts together for a stronger assembly.
