Way O.T.

How does one go about getting rid of all these African next of kin who are looking for some where to unload their millions of what ever it is they have to dump? My letter box is now almost 70 % of this 'desperate mail' I know its all a ruse but how do I get them to stop? Mike IPMS

Just reply, telling them that you will GLADLY help them....but you unfortunately, at present, do not have a bank account. Tell them that if they will send YOU $1000.00 in cash, you will gladly open a bank account....

Hey...it COULD work....lol

DON'T RESPOND!

I was getting a lot of them for awhile and the very first one I reported to the authorities. I still get one now and again but if you ignore them they'll tire of it. Sorry but I don't remember the address to report them but a quick google for "Nigerian Scam" should get you the address. I don't think it'll do much to stop it though.

Reasearch an ancient, powerful Nigerian curse and use it as a reply. If they use their "Christian faith" in the letter tell the that the old curse is far more powerful.

:-)

Seriously, though. Just delete and killfile. It took me a couple of years, but I no longer get them.

By no means reply - I know a couple whose son did, and actually recieved a "seed money" check. Then he had second thoughts and sent it back...after which he received some nasty treats of action against him by "personal contacts in the USA" if he didn't send the rest of the money and complete the deal. The FBI has the case currently.

I had an address at one time to forward them directly to the FBI. Lost it, or I'd pass it on...

Either I don't get as many as I used to, or my spam filter is working.
