I recently discovered a useful tool, it's called NetDisk, by Ximeta. It's an 80GB stand alone hardrive that you can connect to your network via regular network cables(and all computers on the network can access this drive) or connect to an individual computer via USB 2.0. I use it all the time. Now, I keep my laptop and desktop drives free of data storage, only working files in use that day remain on the local drives. I really like using this system. After rebates it was $99.00 from Fry's. They also come in 40, and 160 GB sizes.
