centerline length property

How can I set the length of centerlines in drawings? Is there a property somewhere? I can't seem to find this anywhere, and frequently a centerline of a hole thru my sheet metal part is too long.

Thanks in advance. Diego

Assuming you mean center marks, you can change the length of those by going into Tools, Options, Document Properties (tab). Then, under Detailing, you can assign the size under "Center marks".

Thanks, but no. Centerlines on the drawing show the axis of a round hole from the side - use the center mark on the face that has the hole, use a centerline on the projected view.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond. In earlier versions, if my memory isn't playing tricks again, you could set the centerline length in the document properties. But not any more. I'll have to check this on my home machine with SW2006.

Ahh, ok, sorry, I was reading your original message wrong.

Ok, on the same screen in Tools, Options, Document Properties, Detailing. Set the "Centerline extension" at the bottom of the "Dimensioning standard" box.

Thanks for your patience. That's where it was in SW06 too, I just didn't see it.
