Cosmos FlowWorks Engineering Database

Oct 29, 2004 1 Replies

Hi, We are trying to run Flowworks 2004-2005 on a locked down network. When the FlowWorks option is selected from the SolidWorks add-ins list, a message appears stating : Engineering database - Cannot open database. Please contact the support services. The FlowWorks splash screen then loads. All he FlowWorks option are available fro the SolidWorks menu and FlowWorks does work without problems, however this message appears on screen approx every 2 minutes and the user has to click ok in order to continue. On the same pc an admin user can run this application without these messages occuring. It is not an option to make everyone an admin user. Can anyone give any indication of what file(s) this application is trying to create/ modify or simply access and where, and how to overcome this. ?

Thanks

Susan

I would check with your VAR. Also try snipped-for-privacy@topica.com. You can get there from the SRAC web site. Check on the SW forum also.
