Hi,
I'm trying to create a derived sketch in one part from another part that are not in the same assembly. Is there a way to do this in 2006?

They will need to be in the same assembly to use derived sketch. That may not be you best option anyway, since a derive can't be repaired if something goes wrong. I'd recommend looking into sketch blocks linked to external files, or perhaps a linked library feature, depending on the situation.
