Need a quick answer...Why doesn't my derived configuration of a sub assy show the part number in the BOM? The row is there but all that is filled in is the qty for a assy configuration which is also a derived configuration. I really debated using derived configurations just because I have never used them before. It seem like the logical thing to do in this case. Oh and I do not have the box checked that says "Don't show child components in BOM when used as subiassembly"
part - configuration- derived configuration sub-assembly - derived configuration using the part derived configuration assembly - derived configuration using the derived configuration of the sub assembly
Not very visual but this is basically what I'm trying to do. Bad idea?
