Distance 0 versus Coincident mate?

SW 2005 wouldn't mate two temporary axes with coincident, but didn't squawk about about a distance mate of 0. The holes are parallel and line up perfect, as perfect as floating point math will allow. (Would it be in poor taste to change the mate names in the feature tree to Coincident?) Apparently SW treats them different internally. What's the gotcha here?

Not sure if I get it, bur : For 2 axes coincident means... coincident. Distance 0 means they just cross at some point.

Did you try flipping the direction of the coincident mate? Coincident axes not only have to line up with one another, they have to be pointing the same direction.
