Has anybody run SW this way?

VMWare has a player that allows packaging software with the OS needed to run it. Has anyone tried SW on this?

Is VMWare now supporting OpenGL acceleration in the client systems? If not, why bother?

Looks like Parrallels is listening.... (I prefer Parallels over VMWare but still,... they're slow)

I use VMWare in debugging and testing our software. SW runs quite well, altough currently in sotware OpenGL mode. I haven't seen any performance issues, altough I have not used large assemblies (and obviously I haven't been actually working, just testing our add-in works as expected).

When using VMWare Workstation, there are indeed some interesting issues related to SW activation. Hint: you can take a snapshot and revert to it again and again...
