I'm probably still thinking along the line of autocad here but I have a bunch of hole in a sketch that's all cluttered by the dims. I want to turn off or hide the dims so I can see the holes and select the ones I need to copy/move. Is there a way to do this?
If you are working on a part model sketch I'm not sure if individual dimensions can be hidden as you need to.
In case of a SWX drawing this becomes easy..In your sketch....window or ctrl select the dimensions... RMB and click Hide...copy/move the holes you need to. When you want to see the dimensions back..go to View...Hide/Show Annotations....and select each dimension you want to show. OR you may create a layer ...move all the dims to that layer..and make it On/Off.
You can also copy/paste a fully dimensioned sketch from drawing document to the part model sketch.
SWX is Solid Works and RMB is right mouse button....also check Your settings ín tools/options/document properties/annotations display....tick the option "always display text at the same size"....if You don't use this optione it's almost impossible to zoom in among a lot of dimensions
