We currently have a position opening for a Solidworks Cad Designer:
Mechanical CAD Designer / Drafter familiar with material handling equipment and shop fabrication drawings. Solid Works and 5 years design experience minimum. Rapidly growing small Bend Oregon company who's been around for over 10 years.
The types of equipment we manufacture range from very conventional material automotive parts components to complex forced induction assemblies.
Designer responsibilities will include interpreting equipment design sketches, prototypes or system layouts and developing functional component construction drawings. Construction drawings include all required dimensions, specifications of assembly, notes and a complete bill of materials with approximate weights. All drafters and designers are required to pre-check their own work prior to submitting to checking. Shop and hands on interface will be necessary during the fabrication of designs.
