Does anyone know an easy way of bringing drawings together into a multisheet drawing ( without copying each view). The firm I'm with created multisheet drawings by making a different drawing of each sheet (supposedly to speed up drawing regens?). Making a change now requires opening up each sheet and uprevving it.

You can use copy & paste to move drawing views from one drawing to another. It's tedious, but it can be used to merge drawing files.
If your revisions are controlled in a cutsom property of the drawing, an alternative might be to use one of the several utilities that can edit custom properties without opening the files in SW.
