Moving(new server) License Manager Problems, suggestions wanted

Hello,

Here is my situation, I want to move the license manager for solidworks(2006) from one server "A" to a new server "B" . I am doing this to consolidate all my apps on a single server. The servers are on the same network/domain/etc.

The current Server "A" is running windows 2000 server and has a usb dongle plugged into.

The new Server "B" is running windows 2003 server. It is also acting as the license manager for ProE, CF Design, and Ansys which all use FLexlm.

Here is what I have done

1) installed dongle into Server "B" 2) installed license manager software on server "B"

When installing the license manager, the software prompts me for the license file to read, it reads it in fine. I checked the sw_d.lic file and other than the server name it is identical to the version on server "A".

I get the following errors in the monitoring log

Using the dos commands see what hardware key the server thinks it is reading. That is my first throught.

I got it working, I think there was a conflict with the solidworks license utility and the flexlm utility that is already running.

I just removed the service from the SW veris> Using the dos commands see what hardware key the server thinks it is
