Any thoughts on why when I make a circle, use that to trim a hole in a surface and then use that edge as a patch boundary the function works, but if I go back and change the circle to another shape, say by using lines and arcs, the patch function fails? The error reads patch has open boundary and the hole as well as the outer edges of the surface highlight.
I want better control of the shape I use for creating the patch boundary and this seems to be a bug, any thoughts?
