Price of Solidworks

IIRC it's like this...

SW ---> $4000 SW Pro ---> $6500 SW Premium ---> $8000

could be wrong but it's close. discounts are availble sometimes depending on VAR. don't expect much though.

Just thought I'd input my 2¢.

The initial purchase cost of higher end software packages (not just Solidworks) is the cheap part. One needs to look at the yearly maintenance costs associated with the different levels or add-on modules of the basic package and of coarse that's times the number of licenses you obtain. Training is also another expense one needs to address up front and again it times the number of users.
