In regards to SW, I know that there is a partnership between them andNVIDIA. How this translates directly is that you have real time view in '04.

I am using a Fire GL2 and have never crashed for that reason. Are you using the latest driver? I am using driver 5.12.2195.2088 configured for "Solidworks" with W2K SP2, Zeon 1700 mgz. Works very well.

We are running this card on three of our machines.  Although theperformance is decent, we prefer the Quadro 980 XGL.

The fire gl2 came with my dell precision 330, and ever since I got thiscomputer, I've been getting this error. The computer came with W2K SP2. I'vetried the latest drivers (one's specified for solidworks and the otherones), but the abrupt crashes seemed to happen more often. The crashes canhappen at any time even when I'm not using solidworks. I can't pin down thereason for the crashes, I just know that it's the video cards fault, becauseof the error message, (fgl32.dll was caught in an infinite loop.). I'mpresently using driver version 6.12.10.2082, because it causes less crashes.I also upgraded to windows xp pro, thinking optimistically, that it mightsolve or reduce my problem, but it didn't. I've tried everything!! I calleddell and they insisted that it's my fault, because of the software that I'veinstalled myself, so to dis-prove dell's theory, I've formatted andre-installed only the programs that originally came with the computer.Within the day I crashed 3 times, with the same...

I feel your pain, The computer I am not having any problem with is a Dell Precision 530. I had a similar problem on my home computer AMD 1200, intermittent crashes, no pattern. Turned out to be a bad motherboard.

Just got a Nvidia Quadro2 Mxr, it's brill! and very cheap!, had a OxyigenVX1 before and was always crashing.Use the HP 2000 workstation Nvidia driver though, it's better than Nvidia'sown one, I found.
