Has anybody here used the Solidworks Routing addin? I am wondering if it is capable of creating wiring diagrams. The only information that I have been able to get my hands on has been directly from Solidworks.

I know it can do wire harness layouts, I think the BOM stuff may even work. But pretty sure wire diagrams is a little more than it can handle. But the DWGeditor can though : )

layouts, boms etc - Yes.
Wiring diagrams - No.
DWGEditor? - Yes it can... BUT you are better off with Visio... (which you can plonk into a drawing no sweat - "Insert-Schematic" in a drawing - but I think you need visio instaled for the option to be available).
My question for you: How would you like the wiring schematic creation to work? As in, what would be the key features of your ideal solution?
