Would someone take the time to explain what all the file extension stand for. I am having to learn on my own time and have a buttload of existing parts and assemblies in 20 or so different directories. I would appreciate the help. ~Texascadman~

SLDPRT = Solidworks PART Document SLDASM = Solidworks Assembly Document SLDDRW = Solidworks Drawing Document
There are others but these are the file extensions for default files you would save out of solidworks. Other file extensions are typically Template files.

You might want to look in the help and in the knowledgebase for this kind of information.
If you are planning to do what I think you are, moving files with Windows explorer, don't. Use SWExplorer or SW itself to move the files from one place to another.
