sweep a helix along a guide spline

Who knows how to sweep a helix along a guide spline?

Try a surface sweep. You can then thicken the surface if you need Insert / Boss/Base / Thicken. I am not quite sure what kind of result you are looking for though.

Dear All,

What I am trying to achieve is the following:

Imagine a hose running along a spline that has a variable direction. In the hose is a metal wire giving support. The wire is swept along the spline in the form of a helix.
