Just gettin' Google to send me daily news on SolidWorks.

This particular news is something of a worry. If Catia has "matured" and there is more competition in the mid range i.e. SolidWorks. Then how can SolidWorks afford to make upgrades to the software?

A company I'm currently contracting to is thinking about dropping their subscription / maintenance after the final SP for 2005. Where will the madness end? I personally want continued improvement, (not at the cost of stability)
