Where is my sweep cut command

I have the SW 2007 with cosmos and I do not see the cut sweep command. Do I need to activate my cosmos license?

There's no swept cut icon on your toolbar by default. Just go to the drop down menu Insert>Cut>Sweep. Or put the icon on your toolbar

Thank you. So far two weeks experience and 75 models done out of the exercises in a mechanical drafting text. Same thing done with Autocad and Inventor. I am not partial to any of the three programs.

The exercises in the drafting book are good to start with because they give you a way to practice using the software most tutorials usually only give a limited number of exercises to show you how to use each command. The drafting book gives you several hundred objects to practice with plus a couple of dozen assemblies to practice doing drawing sets with. Some of the projects in the books are much more complicated than what I usually see in real life and there is nothing to help you figure out how to deal with the drafting or modeling software to do them.

Yes legal educational versions. I have the SW and AutoCAD 2005 am going to get AutCAD and Inventor 2008. I am also playing with PCB layout software and tools to do PCB assys and fab drawings in AutoCAD. I will probably write some of those myself. I will probably make my own blocks for components with solid models and the 2d stuff in them.

This is not for layout. AutoCAD is not a good choice for that.
