Help! Has anyone found a source for pictures or drawings of endsills with hook and chain coupling on pre Civil War rollingstock? This is needed for research to develop a topic on the site. Any help would be appreciated.

At a guess, pre-Civil War hook drawgear would be similar to that used in the UK, so perhaps that would be an avenue worth exploring...
