OT: Doubleheading

I'm happy to share the happy news that my wife gave birth to twins on Sunday!

Because the babies were 30+ days premature they spent a few days in the intensive care unit, but were moved to the pediatric wing today and we hope that they'll be home in a few more days. The latest addition(s) brings us up to five kids aged five and under in our house. It already takes me three weeks to complete an Accurail kit; I shudder to think what my future modeling will be like.

Double congrats :-) Best to your wife. Only a month premature is pretty good for twins!

Congratulations on Mom and babies doing well. On behalf of Zero Population Growth, I hope you do more modeling and less canoodling from here on out.

What modeling? Your life is no longer your own. Hasn't been for a few years, but it REALLY isn't now.

Better you than me, bud.

Congrats. I can give you the name of a good urologist to keep that from happening again if you're interested.

Excellent news, Mark. All the best to you, the missus, and the bubs!

Boys, girls, or one of each?

Cheers,

Mark.

We're enjoying a reasonably warm winter so far this year, thanks. You should enjoy Middle Tennessee - great scenery and almost next door to my last abode - Lynchburg, Virginia - where the 611 used to roam. (now I'm on topic ).

Congratulations to both you and your wife, I hope they bring you all the joy under the sun.

But 5 under 5? Tip: If you think its chaotic now, wait until they all start to hit the teens. So, build yourself a good train room now as a place to hide in for the period from eldest turning 14 to youngest turning 25. Then lock yourself in, and loose the key. It's your sanity at stake here!

All the nest!

Don't worry about zero polulation growth... Three of the kids are girls -- and I won't be letting them date until they are way past their reproductive years...

...and the 2-year-old boy scattered most of my modeling drill bits to the far corners of the (carpeted) living room the other day... if he keeps those antics up, I don't think he has long for this world.
