Thomas the Tank Engine

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I've no idea where
else to start. I have it in my mind that Ringo Starr was not the first
"voice" for the Thomas TV series but I cannot remember who preceded
Can anyone help or have I lost the plot? No need to answer that part!

George Carlin also played the role of Mr. Conductor, but my impression was that he followed Ringo in the role. Will's Dad

Is Thomas part of the gay fifth column? Should our children be watching this?

Well... Steam locos are kind of phallic.
I get a kick out of the live steamers when the scrawniest little guys always seem to be riding with the biggest engines out front.
