Found this in newly announced locomotives:

So much for Walthers not carrying Athearn anymore; they can obviously get it!
Remember the buyout was almost a year ago; the ATSF Warbonnet Genesis F units for the Super Chief just made the cut. I don't believe this is pre-Horizon.
Well, remember also that Walthers is the exclusive rights holder to all later Amtrak paint schemes except the Acela Express, which is a Bachmann property. If Athearn wanted to produce a "blueberry" (or whatever) AMD103, then they would have to get Walther's permission to sell it. You can bet that part of that approval was that Walthers got to sell them.

I also think Horizon has modified their selling plan somewhat. You need to move product and being the exclusive wholesaler doesn't always do it.
I'd believe you if you could point out anything else Horizon that Walthers is selling. So far, all I've heard of is Amtrak stuff and nothing else. Therefore, I'd have to say that there has been no other modification by Horizon to their sales plan.
